Econfina Creek. Two main swimming cold springs can get to by car. Over mile long trail in between the two main springs, great for hiking. Can rent canoes from livery. Lots of other springs to see that way. Also a tube launch to tube down river. Well maintained. Beautiful crystal clear springs. Must go to!
We love going here on hot days. The creek stays much cooler the the gulf and it is a nice change. We are locals to the area, so we know the nontouristy areas to go. If your visiting, rent yourself a kayak at the livery and float down and relax.
The Springs are very beautiful. My first time kayaking and I enjoyed it. Family friendly. They only allow service animals. It would help to have the springs marked because we missed one.
Best place to go for a great time or to take the family for any all day event. The sights are absolutely jaw dropping and breath taking. A must see and enjoy if you aren't from Florida! Great prices from the canoe livery, even gives military discounts! Or if you have your own kayaks/ canoes, you dont have to pay unless you ask them to pick you up from the end of the adventure.
A nice place to visit off peak days. Very crowded during summer with questionable people. Weekdays when school is in is optimum. Caution on the cold water!
